I remember now...
My baby slept last night. Like, for a long time. And when I woke up, I felt like Snow White. Like I had been asleep for centuries, waking to find the sun shining, the snow falling, and hit with a barrage of thoughts I have been too sleep deprived for over a year to process. I looked at my husband and rambled. I called my sister and rambled. I signed on line, and am rambling now.
"Did you know I love the theater? Like, being on stage? Did you know that?"
"Did you know cooking is one of my favorite things to do? Do you?"
"Did you know that I love to read? And write things....anything?"
"Have I changed out of my pajamas in the last 6 months?"
"Did you know that I used to want to be on Broadway? Or a food critic? Or a music teacher? Or an editor? Or a restaurant owner? Or a child psychologist? Or for the U.N. as an interpreter? Even thou I don't speak any other language other than English fluently?"
"Did you know there was a time where traveling to all ends of the earth seemed not only feasible, but entirely possible?"
"Did you know I was cool once? Before I never slept."
Did you know? Because I forgot. But I remember now.
