Remember when you were engaged? There was never a missed opportunity to insert the words, "my fiance", into every conversation. Even in speaking to his own Mother. You'd practice writing your new name and only point things out to others with your ring finger. That's how I feel about my daughter. MY daughter. I love her name and say it often, but nothing quite makes the impact like, "My Daughter."
