I know, two posts in one day?!?!
But I had to let you know, that I have been rather preoccupied, errrr, obsessed really, with traditional Irish and Scottish folk music lately. I'm not sure if it's my longing for cooler weather, trying to reconnect with my roots, or my love of music that tells stories that are both sorrowful and hopeful at the same time, but whatever the case may be, this is the song I sang over and over to Ellie tonight for over an hour trying to get her to go to sleep. It's gorgeous and makes me cry. Every. Time.
